Austrian Robotics Workshop 2012

The Austrian Robotics Workshop seeks to bring together researchers, professionals and practitioners working on various topics in robotics to discuss recent developments and challenges in robotics and its applications. The 2012 edition of the workshop series will be held at Graz University of Technology on 3rd and 4th of May 2012. In 2012 contribution and participation of neighboring countries in the area such as Slovenia is particular welcome.

Relations to Industry

The organizers envision strengthening the cooperation between academia and industry. Therefore, the contributions and participation from industry is encouraged.

Service Robotics as Special Topic

The workshop focuses on current research themes and topics in the field of mobile, medical, field and industrial robotics. For the 2012 edition of the workshop service robotics will be a special area of interests.

Public Robot Event

There will be a public robot event comprising a robotics exhibition and bomb disposal robot demo. The addmission is free. Everybody is heartily welome. For details please refer to here.

The workshop is funded by the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013 under the project grant TEDUSAR.
